TRAINING
& QUALIFICATION COURSE
Approved By The Ventura County Sheriff's Department
This class is for individuals who
are applying with The Ventura County Sheriff's
Department to receive a Concealed Carry Weapons
permit.
Getting a permit to carry concealed firearms comes
with many responsibilities. At Tacfire, we instruct
our students to not only use their firearm properly,
but more important, we create an understanding of
the social responsibilities and requirements of
the permit holder.
Below is the relevant information for
this course:
Meets all state and local requirements.
Complete guidance in all aspects of carrying
a firearm, including:
- Selection of handgun; holsters; clothing &
ammunition
- Legal and moral aspects
- Levels of force
- Firearm Safety
- Every day gun handling Vs Fighting with a handgun
There is a lot more to carrying
a concealed weapon
than just getting a permit! Be responsible!

Things to bring to the first class:
* Please do not buy any of these items. Bring
only what you have. We will advise you of the best
options.

- Samples of ammunition that you have.
- All holsters, fanny packs, purses, and/or carrying
cases.
- Eye and ear protection
The initial course consists
of both classroom and range time.
The renewal course
consists of both classroom and range time.
