Defensive Handgun For Women Only
The curriculum is designed to introduce women on how to safely handle and accurately fire a semi-automatic handgun for self-defense. Included are: Firearm safety, ammunition, liability, marksmanship, color codes of awareness, layers of response, administrative vs emergency gun handling & range shooting drills
(3 hour classroom & 4 hours range)
Defensive Handgun Level 1
These courses are designed to introduce the student on how to safely handle and accurately fire a semi-automatic handgun for self-defense while wearing a holster. Included are: Firearm safety, care & cleaning, ammunition, liability, marksmanship, administrative vs emergency gun handling & range shooting drills
(3 hour classroom & 5 hours range)
Defensive Handgun Level 2
These courses are designed to introduce the student on how to safely handle and accurately fire a semi-automatic handgun for self-defense while wearing a holster. Included are: Firearm safety, care & cleaning, marksmanship, movement, stoppages & range shooting drills
(8 hours range)
Defensive Handgun Level 3 (Concealed Carry Concepts)
These courses are designed for the intermediate student who has successfully passed a Level 1 & 2 course. The curriculum is designed to reinforce the safe handling of a semi-automatic handgun from the concealed carry. Concealed Carry Concepts, Layers of Response, Color Codes of Awareness. Shoot/ don’t shoot drills, challenge drills, movement, Close quarter shooting and a handgun proficiency test.
(3 hour classroom & 5 hours range)
Defensive Handgun Level 4
This course is designed for the intermediate & advanced student who has successfully passed a Level 3 course. Included are; one handed shooting, cover drills and more.
Defensive Handgun Level 5
These courses are designed for the intermediate & advanced student who has successfully passed a Level 3 & 4 course. Included are: Close quarter shooting, wounded limb
(one handed manipulation) unconventional shooting positions, cover drills and more

Defensive Handgun Level 6
This course is designed for the intermediate & advanced student who has successfully passed a Level 5 course. Included are; unconventional shooting positions, cover drills and more.
Practice Shoots
These sessions are designed for TACFIRE students to practice the skills and techniques learned in classes.

Low Light Handgun
These courses are designed for the intermediate & advanced student who has successfully passed a Level 4 course. The curriculum is designed to expose advanced students to proper modern lighting techniques. Included are flashlight techniques, movement, search techniques and low light shooting drills.
