Defensive Handgun 1&2

Curriculum

This course provides a variety of basic
defensive handgun techniques. This class is for both beginning and intermediate shooters. This course is designed to introduce the student on how to safely handle and accurately fire a semi-automatic handgun for
self-defense while wearing a holster.

Classroom Day 1

Approximately 3 hours will be spent in the classroom. Subjects will include, but are not limited to: Fundamentals of marksmanship, pistol presentation from holster, master grip, administrative gun handling Vs defensive gun handling, shoot don't shoot, situational awareness, verbal challenge,
color codes of awareness,
layers of response, verbal challenge and more!

Range Day 1

Approximately 4 hours will be spent at the range. Subjects will include, but are not limited to: Range safety, Presentation drills, Reloading drills; Don't shoot drills, Stoppage drills, Challenge drills and more.

Range Day 2

Approximately 8 hours will be spent at the range. Subjects will include, but are not limited to: Range safety, Presentation drills, Reloading drills, Don't shoot drills;,Stoppage drills, Challenge drills & Handgun Proficiency test.
