CURRICULUM

This course provides a variety of basic
defensive handgun techniques. The curriculum is designed to introduce the student on how to safely handle and accurately fire a semi-automatic handgun for self-defense. This class is for both beginning and intermediate shooters.

CLASSROOM

Approximately 4 hours will be spent in the classroom. Subjects will include, but not be limited to: Firearm Safety; Range safety, Care and Cleaning, Defensive handgun techniques, Ammunition, Responsibilities, Fundamentals of Marksmanship, Administrative gun handling Vs defensive gun handling, shoot don't shoot, situational awareness, verbal challenge, color codes of awareness, layers of response and more!

RANGE

Approximately 4 hours will be spent on the range. Subjects will include, but not be limited to: Review of safety, Shooting drills, Don"t shoot drills, Reloading drills and more.
