Dan is currently a SNIPER TEAM Leader for the Santa Paula Police Department and has been a member of the SWAT Team for over 10 years

​

In 2017 he attended his second SWAT school (LA County Sheriff SEB) at the age of 57!

​

He has also been the senior staff instructor for Tactical Firearms Training Institute since 2003.  He is involved with all aspects of course development and training.

​

Dan has an extensive background in firearms training and has trained with many of the top firearms instructors in the country. He has firearms instructor credentials from POST, FBI, IALEFI, Defensive Training International, Police Training Consultants, Center Mass Inc. and TACFIRE. 

​

He has also trained in “To Shin Do Ninjutsu” both in the US and Japan.  

​

Dan has had a long career in the Defense and Aerospace business, developing and testing advanced weapon systems, precision explosive devices, missiles, and rocket systems.  This unique background brings a high-tech, analytical approach to training, tactics, and equipment selection.
