Handgun Classes Overview

Police Law Enforcement Instructor Training in Los Angeles

Introduction to Defensive Handgun

This course is designed to introduce the student on how go through the process of obtaining handguns for the purpose of self-defense.

Subjects will include, but are not limited to:
Firearm Safety, Legal updates, Handgun selection, Ammunition selection, Storage, Training, Concealed Weapon Permits and much more.


We will address all the urban myths relating to this topic.

(4 hour classroom)

This two-day course is designed to introduce the student to safely manipulating and accurately firing an AR15 /M16Rifle.

Classroom Day 1

Approximately 4 hours will be spent in the classroom. Subjects will include, but are not limited to: firearm safety, care and cleaning, maintenance, fire control systems, cycle of operation, function check.

Range Day 1 Topics to Include:

Approximately 4 hours will be spent in the range. Subjects will include, but are not limited to: range safety, zeroing, administrative loading and unloading, reloading, slings and position shooting.

Range Day 2 Topics to Include:

Approximately 8 hours will be spent at the range. Subjects will include, but are not limited to: range safety; transition to handgun; movement; cover and concealment, multiple threats, unconventional positions; support side manipulation and shooting; and proficiency test.

Fee: $550 CRA Members $500
Equipment: AR15 or M16 Rifle with Sling
300 Rounds Factory new ammo.
Handgun with holster and 50 rounds.
Hat, Eye & Ear pro.
Folding Chair

This Class is open to Law Enforcement and Military only.

*Class sizes are limited. Advanced reservation required.
Class slots will not be held without deposit equal to full tuition.
Deposit is nonrefundable unless spot can be filled.
